The following story comes to us from team leader Lucy with our team in Boise, ID:

Although the weather can be uncertain, God is faithful! So, thank you again for your prayers for the Boise Catholic street evangelization effort.

An out-of-town university that sponsors local programs was holding graduation ceremonies in the main convention center. And a steady stream of groups encountered us as they headed in. Perhaps four or five people accepted a Rosary. May God bless them and remind them often about what’s really important.

A woman from another country stopped because she was surprised to see Catholics on the street. She took a Rosary and the pamphlet in Spanish. The evangelist politely declined receiving a donation from her. May God bless our visitor and keep her faithful!

A woman stopped for a Rosary, mentioning that her grandmother had cherished the devotion. And it was shortly after her passing that our visitor first encountered us. She chose a reconditioned vintage chain Rosary with several medals attached, including St. Dymphna, the patron saint for those suffering due to mental illness. The evangelist encouraged our visitor to spend time with the Rosary prayer, doing a deep dive into the stories about Christ’s life. She was very grateful. May God grant her healing, wholeness, and peace.

A Catholic couple stopped for a Rosary on their way into the graduation hall. She is expecting, and gladly chose a Rosary for her baby. He was carrying a doctorate gown, getting his law degree. “Congratulations! We need good Catholic lawyers,” the evangelist quipped. May God bless the family and keep them faithful!

Please pray for us again today? Ask God to send people to us with hearts prepared to perceive their need for Our Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that much good fruit for His Kingdom comes of today’s efforts.

What a privilege to see the Rosary calling people back to prayer, even in the midst of everyday life! So, thank you again for your prayers and other support for this apostolate. In turn, may God protect and greatly bless you and all those you love!
