The following is a continuation of yesterday’s story which comes to us from team leader Lucy with our team in Boise, ID:

A man wearing a nice black suit stopped on his way into the graduation ceremonies. He was Catholic, he explained, but hadn’t brought a Rosary with him. He chose the plainest black Rosary we had. May God again bless our Rosary makers and all those who accept a Rosary with the intention of praying it!

A couple passed by, declining our offer of a free Rosary. Then the man changed his mind, saying something like God was reaching out to him and so he didn’t want to say no. He chose a Rosary, took the pamphlet, and then the two continued on their way.

A man stopped for a Rosary early in the session. He was Catholic, he said, but hadn’t connected with a parish in the area. I set him up with a map to area parishes, pointing out the closest one. He came back somewhat later in the session, having trouble making sense of the information on the page. The evangelist showed him the thumbnails of the three parishes that have a Sunday evening Mass. Since he seemed to be on foot, she gave directions to the one that was only a few blocks away. He headed off in that direction, saying he was going to go look for it. May God help him find his way back to Himself and the Sacraments!

There was a brisk breeze blowing, which made the weather chillier than it looked. Except for people heading into the convention center, foot traffic was light and people were in a hurry. But the apostolate still gave away about 10 Rosaries and its pamphlet on how to pray it, one map, and one Our Lady Untier of Knots prayer card.

Please pray for us again today? Ask God to send people to us with hearts prepared to perceive their need for Our Savior Jesus Christ and His Holy Catholic Church, and that much good fruit for His Kingdom comes of today’s efforts.

What a privilege to see the Rosary calling people back to prayer, even in the midst of everyday life! So, thank you again for your prayers and other support for this apostolate. In turn, may God protect and greatly bless you and all those you love!
